Lesego Froz Selekane (born July 6, 1986), who records independetly & is a Soweto rap artist and producer. Like any other Rapper Froz fell in love with hip hop during his high school days, but little did he know that one day it would evolve to making music. After high school he was signed by a record company called PURPLESEED PRODUCTIONS together with a group called TEN1LEVEN from 2007 until 2008 and dropped an album called LAW n ORDER. 2009 parted ways with the group to explore as an independent artist.
Froz started making beats and recording himself with cats like Bleq Majic, Red Button, Bantu Education, Trigga, Brain Damage and many more hip-hop artist with his PC n Microphone. June 2010 released a mix tape with Bleq Majic called OUTNUMBERED and currently dropped a mixtape called DABUKA MTHANGALA which features various producers like Dynamic, The-Piggz, Street Carnivore, Speeka n many more
His first single called Aneva is a track is about good times & was on high rotation on Y-fm and made it to the charts. It was t number 31 on the top 40 countdown & went as high as number 8 on 2010. His second single called Murder Dropped November 2011 which made it to YFM’s HOT 9@9 for 2months n stayed at the number 1 spot for 3weeks in a row. Dabuka Mthangala is set to separate street hiphop & industry music with a variety of more commercial & ear-friendly tracks like You My Life which features Terrence McKay.
